PROGRAM REGISTRATION

Winter 2024-25 Registration

The goal of winter training is to improve overall strength and conditioning. Sessions will include time spent on the rowing machines, time on the water, body weight exercises, and team competition. Additionally, the girls may elect to enter two 2K erg competitions, The Mainline Slide at LM and US Rowing Erg Champs in Atlantic City. Information on both competitions will be provided at a later date.

Start Date: Monday 11/18/24

End Date: 2/13/25

Timing: Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: (3:30-5:00 PM).

Practices will be held at RHS and Hines Rowing Center. The schedule is to be posted in advance on TeamSnap.

(NOTE: Off the weeks of 12/23 and Monday, 12/30/24)

All practices will be added to TeamSnap, where the girls are expected to track their availability.

Registration Process:

  1. TeamSnap Registration
    Register online for the program via TeamSnap using the link below.
    Payment: you can pay with a credit card during the check-out process or pay offline via check. If you select the “pay offline” option, please submit a check payable to Radnor Girls Crew Club. Checks should be submitted with the hard copy forms as outlined below.
  2. PIAA Section 7 and the RHS Permission to Treat Form
    If your daughter did not participate in a fall sport at RHS:
    the entire PIAA packet needs to be completed.
    A one-time fee to cover the annual Hines Rowing Center fee is also required for all rowers at the start of each school year (which will be included in the TeamSnap registration).

These forms must be completed and delivered to Leanne Gasink

  • Deliver electronically: complete, sign, and email to Leanne Gasink
  • Deliver printed versions: paper submissions, including checks, should be mailed or dropped off to Leanne.

 

  • USRowing Membership
    US Rowing is a nonprofit membership organization by the United States Olympic Committee, the national governing body for rowing in the United States. To participate in RGCC all athletes must also be active members of US Rowing.  If you are already a member, and your membership will expire before August 15, 2024, please renew before the beginning of the fall season.  Go to the USRowing Membership Portal to either join or renew.  If renewing, you will need your US Rowing member number. If this is your first time, you must create an account. Our club code is UTGP2.  Choose basic membership.

 


All paperwork and payment, including physician-signed PIAA forms, must be submitted to Leanne Gasink by 11/13, regardless of whether they are in electronic or paper format.  Rowers will not be allowed on the water without completing all documents.

US Rowing Membership

US Rowing is a nonprofit membership organization by the United States Olympic Committee a the national governing body for the sport of rowing in the United States.
