Spring 2026 Registration

New to crew?  No problem!  New athletes in grades 9, 10, and 11 who would like to try crew for the spring season are welcome!

DEADLINES:

  • Registration is due in TeamSnap by January 26th
  • Uniform and jacket orders and payment are due by January 28th (see below for more information on uniforms)
  • All other forms must be received by February 8th

HOW TO REGISTER:

  1. Register in TeamSnap

  2. Submit medical forms

    If your daughter has NOT participated in ANY RHS sport this school year you must complete:
    If your daughter HAS participated in any RHS sport (crew or other sport) this school year, only section 7 of the PIAA packet must be completed
  3. Submit additional required forms

    These are required if your daughter has NOT participated in FALL CREW this school year; no additional forms are needed if your daughter has participated in fall crew during this school year:

    • Hines Rowing Center Code of Conduct
    • Swim Certification
    • Radnor Girls Crew Club Expectation Contract
  4. Order Apparel

    • Unisuits are required for upperclass/non-novices only who didn't get a new one last spring
    • Long Sleeve Tech Shirt and Jacket are optional for all rowers
    • Samples are available to try on in the RHS Library FOR A LIMITED TIME through Friday, January 23

  5. USRowing Membership

    US Rowing is a nonprofit membership organization by the United States Olympic Committee, the national governing body for the sport of rowing in the United States. To participate in RGCC all athletes must also be active members of US Rowing.  If you are already a member, and your membership will expire before August 15, 2025, please renew before the beginning of the fall season.  Go to the USRowing Membership Portal to either join ($25/year) or renew ($20/year).  If renewing, you will need your US Rowing member number. If this is your first time, you'll need to create an account. The team name is "Radnor Girls Crew Club" and the club code is UTGP2.  Choose basic membership.

  6. Submit payment

    • Registration fee: $1700 (pay with a credit card during TeamSnap checkout process or choose the pay offline option*)
    • Hines annual rowing fee (only for rowers who have not participated in crew during fall or novice camp; rowers who participated in winter only must pay): $70 (pay with a credit card during TeamSnap checkout process or choose the pay offline option*)
    • Uni, Tech Shirt, Jacket cost: (pay via the order link above)

    * Checks payable to Radnor Girls Crew Club or Venmo (@RadnorGirls-CrewClub) ** Be sure to include in the memo/note the name of the rower and what payment is included


UNIFORMS:
Upperclass (non-novice) rowers are required to purchase a unisuit if they didn't get one last spring.  Novice rowers are not required to purchase the unisuit, however, they may want to purchase the Long Sleeve Tech Shirt (good for cold days) and/or the Jacket which must be ordered and paid by January 28th.  The purchase of novice uniforms and other optional RGCC gear is not required during the registration process.  Additional information about these items will be communicated.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE SEASON:

  • Spring season is our busiest time of the year with athletes participating in a minimum of seven regattas between March and May
  • ALL PRACTICES ARE MANDATORY; in the event that an athlete must miss practice, then they must inform the coach in advance

PRACTICE LOCATION:
All practices are held at the Hines Rowing Center located at 801 Washington Street in Conshohocken. Occasionally practice may be moved to RHS.

START DATE:
Tuesday, February 17, 2025

Practices will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays (off Wednesdays).  The schedule will be posted to TeamSnap.

MANDATORY SPRING BREAK PRACTICES:
There will be mandatory practice for all RGCC athletes during spring break.  Tentative start time 4:00 pm.  This is a critical week to prepare the athletes for the regattas.

CARPOOLS:
RGCC captains will arrange carpools from the high school to the Boathouse for upperclass athletes.  The novices will be transported by a parent carpool. Carpools will be finalized before the first practice.

REGATTAS:
Regattas will begin in March and are held on the weekends.  RGCC will participate in a minimum of seven regattas including five flicks, City Championships, and The Stotesbury Cup Regatta.  Participation in the Mid Atlantic and /or Scholastic Rowing Association of America (SRAA) Regattas will be on a boat-by-boat basis.   A complete schedule of regattas will be posted to TeamSnap.  All athletes are expected to arrive at the river two hours in advance of race times.
